How We Got Started
Sellerandseller Ltd wasn't built on buzzwords—it's built on noticing something real.
Back in 2019, we noticed retirees in Carlow wanted to stay active but weren't interested in intense fitness routines. They wanted peaceful routes where they could cycle at their own pace, enjoy nature, and feel genuinely safe. The Barrow Way canal towpath had potential—it's flat, scenic, and steeped in Irish history—but it'd been neglected for years.
We didn't just talk about restoration. We spent 18 months working with local councils, heritage organizations, and actual retirees who'd use the route. That meant resurface the 18-kilometer path, install proper signage, and create safe resting spots. No shortcuts. Real investment. We're focused on making this something Carlow residents can actually be proud of.
Today, we've got nearly 2,000 regular cyclists using the route. Isn't just about numbers though. It's about people telling us they're sleeping better, feeling more connected to their community, and genuinely excited about getting out of the house. That's the real win.
